Leading Spanish group choose Celmacch machine again
Rafael Hinojosa SA is one of the largest private industrial groups producing boxes in Spain and has a good reputation for the production of high quality printed packaging. It is known for both digital and flexo printing and is considered one of the largest European producers of digitally printed packaging. Having been one of the first plants in the world to install a Barberan single pass digital press more than five years ago, in 2017, they installed the first EFI ™ Nozomi C18000 LED.
The Group's headquarters are located in Xàtiva, just south of Valencia, with other plants located in Pacs del Penedès (Barcelona), L'Olleria (Valencia), Dolores (Alicante), Alovera (Guadalajara) and La Rambla (Córdoba). Celmacch and Hinojosa have a long relationship of excellent cooperation. In fact, three Celmacch flexographic printers are running at Hinojosa factories; first one was installed in Cipasi, the second (Chroma High Tech 2100, six colours) was installed in 2017 at La Rambla (Córdoba) and the third one at Xàtiva in January 2018.
The Chroma High Tech 2400 is a six colours machine, with vacuum belts transport and non-stop stacker. This line has been developed to achieve the highest quality levels for flexo post-print. The structure of the machine is HBL, to allow rapid changes of work to the operators while the machine is operating. The lead edge feeder is driven by Siemens direct motors, ensuring high precision and low maintenance. Each printing unit is equipped with a carbon fibre chamber system with automatic washing system and peristaltic pump.
"Thanks to the anilox change system, with up to three anilox rolls for each printing unit, it is possible to choose between different types of roll with different specifications, ranging from standard anilox to anilox for high definition works," explains Luca Celotti, Sales Manager of Celmacch Group. "The use of Siemens electronics with direct motors provides maximum accuracy and reliability in the long term. Simec anilox rolls were chosen, enabling ht eplant to run a wide range of work, from standard jobs to high-definition coated jobs. It takes about three minutes to change the anilox cylinder. The machine offers a maximum speed of 10,000 sheets per hour and the high levels of automation guarantee high productivity as well as fast order change."
