Broby, Denmark-based bcm transtech a/s has confirmed the promotion of Jens Christian Christiansen to the position of CEO, with effect from March 2024.
Following the company’s annual ordinary general meeting on 13th March, it was unanimously decided that Jens Christian Christiansen will take over the position of CEO from his father Torben Christiansen, who has held the position since the company was founded in October 1976.

Jens Christian joined the company in November 1999, and has learned to know the entire company as a blacksmith, installation engineer and machinery engineer. For the past 10 years, he has primarily dealt with sales, business development and business management.
Jens Christian’s brother, Niels Christiansen, started at bcm transtech in 2015, first as an installation engineer, then Technical Supervisor, and most recently as Field Installation Manager. From now on, Niels holds the position of Installation Specialist, and Site Manager, to ensure streamlined project management on complex projects.
Torben Christiansen continues in bcm transtech a/s as chairman of the board. His wife, Mari-Ann, continues as CFO.
