Changes at Axis Corrugated

David Fink has been appointed Director of Sales of Axis Corrugated Container, a Butner, North Carolina sheet plant.

“We are thrilled to have a professional of David’s caliber lead our sales development efforts,” said Axis Corrugated President Clark Casson, (also the President  & COO of Axis’ parent company, Southern Lithoplate, in nearby Wake Forest, North Carolina). “A graduate of Georgetown University with a Master’s in Business, David is an impact player that brings us keen team leadership skills along with in-depth packaging experience. His customer-first consultative approach will empower our current and future customers with innovative and cost-effective packaging solutions.”

“My passion is to listen closely and develop deep partnerships with our customer partners,” Fink said. “The result will be focused solutions. These solutions will enable our customers to package and compete in their market space more effectively. Axis Corrugated Container serves a wide array of specialty markets, including food & beverage, non-food/non-durables, non-manufacturing and durables. Our solutions range from printed shipping boxes to colorful, in-store point-of-purchase displays and innovative custom packages designed to meet specific customer needs.”

In other news, Axis is expanding capacity and capabilities with the installation of a Martin 924 four-color flexo folder-gluer, delivering rapid state-of-the-art converting, one pass high quality printing, real diecut, and ultra-accurate folding.
