UK-based Cepac has appointed David Alvis as its new Business Development Manager for its Rawcliffe site. This appointment, which will be based in Wales and the South West, further strengthens the company’s UK sales team and marks the first time the business has benefited from a sales presence in the region.
He joins the team at Cepac from DS Smith, where he spent seven years as Area Sales Manager after graduating from the University of the West of England. This appointment will accelerate business growth for Cepac Rawcliffe, which recently completed a £2m expansion.
Commenting on his new position, Alvis (pictured below) said, “Cepac has significant plans for growth in my area and I have been impressed with the innovative product range and technical knowledge at Rawcliffe to support this objective. My family has worked in the corrugated sector for many years and so you could say I have grown up surrounded by boxes.”
