Pontypool, Wales-based Diamondpak have recently taken delivery of the latest large format semi automatic die-cutter from Century Machinery. Supplied by UK agent ID Machinery, this is the third Century machine for Diamondpak.
Russell Davies, Managing Director of Diamondpak comments, “After a catastrophic failure of our large format hand platen at our Bristol factory, we needed a replacement machine rapidly. Having had excellent experience with our previous two Century machines, we decided to pursue a semi automatic model due to its safer working process and the obvious increase in speed.”
The machine is a model CT-Classic 1521, with a bed size of 2100x1500mm. Featuring automatic rising feed table, lowering pallet delivery and quick set up, it is the perfect replacement for the traditional hand fed platen.
Davies continues, “With a growing large format point-of-sale business and our previous experience with Century and ID Machinery over many years, this was an easy decision for us.”
John Brasier, Sales Director of ID Machinery adds, “Thanks to the size and infrastructure of Shandong Century, they build around 30 machines per month so we were able to secure a quick delivery as they had one virtually ready to go. Additionally, we offer full spares and service support from our factory in Milton Keynes.”
