Over the past nine months, Century has completed three installations in Poland, with a fourth machine en route to Gdansk and a fifth ready for dispatch.
The first installation was two 1650G model automatic die-cutters in mirror version. Featured with bottom suction feeder, these two die-cutters were built for laminated board feeding and converting.
The third machine is a 1650 semi-auto die cutter. The fourth, a MWZ 1670Q automatic die-cutter with stripping and pallet delivery, inline with a semi-auto pre-feeder; it is now on the way to the destination near Krakov. Its format is 1670 x 1260mm, with a speed of 5000 sph.
The company said that a similar 1670 model has just set a new production record in North Africa – 25 million sheets cut in 18 months.
The fifth is a 1650G with automatic pallet supply system and job recall function, which is to be dispatched soon.
