Cascades has confirmed that the paper machine reconfiguration is nearing completion at its Bear Island, Virginia mill site.
The project team is preparing for the start-up of the mill in the next few weeks. The transformation of the facility will allow for the production of high-quality 100% recycled lightweight liner and medium for the North American market. The company expects to produce around 465,000 tons per annum on the paper machine.
