It has been widely reported that the Italian manufacturer of recycled containerboard, Cartiere del Polesine, is closing its mill in Loreo, Italy. The company said it will cease production on 20th December.
At the Loreo mill, the company runs:
- PM 1, a 2.2m machine, producing Fluting in a range of 105 to 170 gsm;
- PM 2, a 2.46m machine, producing Fluting in a range of 105 to 170 gsm.
The company’s Adria mill, which produces Testliner and Fluting on PM3 and PM 4, is not affected.
