Carte Lumina & Cyber XLPac GC1

During last year, ITC Paperboards & Speciality Papers Division was working extensively on improving the bulk of their flagship grades, Carte Lumina GC1 and Cyber XLPac GC1, both exclusively available in the UK from EBB Board.

Carte Lumina is claimed by EBB to be the whitest GC1 available in the UK and is being used for greeting cards and high-end luxury packaging. The 5% – 7% bulk and stiffness improvement means customers can drop from 405mic/270gsm to 400mic/250gsm, 450mic/300gsm to 456mic/285gsm, 495mic/330gsm to 496mic/310gsm and 620mic/415gsm to 640mic/400gsm without compromising on quality.

In 2017, Cyber XLPac GC1 became one of the most popular coated board for greeting cards in the UK and, in this very price sensitive sector, clients will be delighted to hear that it has also undergone bulk improvements. Customers can move from 260gsm to 250gsm and in certain cases 240gsm with the confidence of knowing they will produce a quality card.
