Cardboard donations prove popular during holiday period

CorrBoard has continued its support of The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore CIC, a community interest company that collects surplus materials from local businesses to given them a second life through creative workshops, education and community projects.

Thanks to regular donations of cardboard, which would otherwise be recycled by the business, The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore CIC is able to engage with community groups during the summer holidays to deliver free activities that keep families engaged and entertained.

Working with people of all ages, the ambition of the community interest company is to redirect reusable materials for creative purposes, promoting sustainability and reducing waste all year round.

Lillie Allen, Co-Founder of The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore CIC, comments, “CorrBoard has been one of our biggest supporters since we first started. The cardboard they have donated has been fundamental to what we do and has helped us deliver countless workshops, community events and creative projects.”

Building on the positive impact of this partnership, CorrBoard is encouraging schools, charities, and community groups within the local area to get in touch if they could use donations of cardboard for their activities.
