Carbon Footprint of Carton Packaging 2023 study

Pro Carton has released the publication of its Carbon Footprint of Carton Packaging 2023 study.

The new research, undertaken by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden Bioeconomy and Health Unit, tracked both the cradle-to-grave and cradle-to-gate carbon impact of cartonboard from January to December 2021.

The study has revealed that the cartonboard industry has reduced its carbon footprint by 24% since 2018, cementing its credentials as the circularity leader in the packaging industry. Read the full summary here.
