Following significant investment in its manufacturing and assembly site in Hamburg, Germany, BW Papersystems has confirmed it has now finished building the first flexo folder gluer at the facility.
“We are really pleased with the progress that has been made at our Hamburg site,” says Mark Taylor, Director of Sales – EMEA. “We already had a facility in Hamburg with highest technology standards where we have been assembling cut-size and folio sheeters for some time, so this was a logical site from which we could roll out corrugated flexo converting equipment as well. It means we can supply European assembled machines to customers throughout EMEA. This first flexo folder gluer to be manufactured in Hamburg is now being prepared for shipping to Sicart, the privately-owned corrugated converter in Italy.”
