Established in 1993, Korea and Vietnam based ACE Machinery produces a comprehensive range of ‘Signature’ gluers for the corrugated and folding carton industry. Its main export markets have long been USA, Canada and Europe. Prior to exhibiting at Drupa, ACE appointed Lloyds Print Services Ltd as UK and Northern Ireland agents for their Signature gluers manufactured in Korea.
Simon Lloyd confirms that its been a busy time since Drupa. A recent carton gluer installation was completed at UK-based KeCo Ltd in Cambridgeshire. The company supply innovative food packaging solutions, specialising in the convenience food service market. They installed a high specification Signature Select 1100 that can handle 8 corner boxes. A Signature Elite is scheduled for installation at MPS Limerick in the new year. It’s an Elite line that includes new user friendly software, remote control and touchscreen controls.
On the corrugated side of the business, the latest installation of a particularly highly specified Signature Select 145 was installed at DS Smith Launceston. There were strict health & safety requirements and a 90 day delivery timeframe so that the line was fully operational in September, ready for the busy build up to Christmas.
“I anticipate we will be even busier in 2017 when we take delivery of a demo Signature 110 with new electronics and quickset features that will be available for demonstration in our UK showroom in February,” concludes Mr Lloyd.
