DS Smith has confirmed that its corrugated board plant in Lisbon, Portugal, has renewed its food safety certification with direct contact BRC with the AA classification, which allows them to guarantee the quality of packaging, as well as compliance with the highest levels of food safety and the current legal framework.
“The achievement of this certification was possible thanks to the awareness, involvement and commitment of all employees, as well as the standards implemented regarding Quality Management, product and process control and the Hazard and Risk Management System,” said a company spokesperson.
