UK-based BoxMart have been shortlisted in this year’s Digital Labels & Packaging Awards for their creative Gingerbread House Christmas Gift Campaign.
Bringing together novel constructional design and great use of digital print technology, their gingerbread house gift box commanded the judges attention, earning the company a nomination for Best Self-Promotional Print. The pack comprises an outer box crafted in the shape of a house – featuring interactive opening doors and 3 dimensional window cut-outs, each revealing a festive scene inside. Once opened via a tied ribbon, the box then reveals eight further gift boxes, each holding a gift for the recipient. Created using sustainably sourced, fully recyclable board, the box combines two substrates – corrugated and cartonboard, both of which were digitally printed, giving a high impact pack which delighted those who received it.
BoxMart are no strangers to the packaging awards season, with their in-house design team holding several UK Packaging Awards, WorldStar Awards and Starpack accolades. The final of the Digital Labels and Packaging Awards will be held at the Kia Oval on 29th June.
