BOBST reaches landmark, with 100th FLEXO 160-VISION installation

BOBST has confirmed that it recently completed the 100th installation of its FLEXO 160-VISION printing machine at Pavlovo-Posadskiy Gofrokombinat (PPGK).

The fact that this event is significant not only for Bobst, but also for the entire Swiss business community, was evidenced by the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to the Russian Federation, Christina Marti Lang, at the event.

As the Ambassador noted, the Russian market is interesting for them, while for Bobst it is one of its most important markets. She also expressed confidence that the production line installed at the site (which includes the Flexo 160-Vision and an Expertcut flat bed die-cutter), will allow Pavlovo-Posadskiy to expand the range of its packaging solutions and improve the quality of corrugated products.

The head of the Pavlovo-Posadskiy Gofrokombinat, Alexander Kushnir, stressed that the installation of a new production line will give fresh impetus to the development of the company. “The reliability of the Bobst equipment is proven by us in practice, and the contract for installation of the Flexo 160-Vision is just another step in our close co-operation. Proof of this are three signed contracts for the supply of equipment, which are now being taken away from our festive event by a representative of the Bobst Group. Among them is a contract for the supply of another Flexo 160-Vision.”
