A packaging manufacturer in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province, China, has significantly boosted its production capabilities with the installation of an Aopack BM3000-HD Heavy Duty Corrugated Box Maker. Established seven years ago, the factory specialises in making corrugated boxes, paper products, blister packaging, and custom pearl cotton materials. With annual sales reaching RMB17 m last year and RMB9 m in the first four months of 2025, the company is on track to exceed RMB20 m by October.
The factory handles highly varied orders, including: FEFCO 0110 commercial sheets, RSC boxes with handle die-cut and FEFCO 0300 telescope-type boxes. To address challenges like frequent order changes, low-volume production, and complex designs, the company invested in Aopack BM3000-HD Heavy Duty Corrugated Box Maker. This installation marks the second deployment of this model in Qingyuan, following its successful adoption by Xiangyu Packaging, another local industry player.
The BM3000-HD is engineered to process heavy-duty corrugated cardboard up to 7-ply thickness, supporting flutes from E to AAA. The factory owner praised the machine versatility. He said, “It a game-changer for sample boxes and low-quantity orders. The vibrating knife eliminates mold costs, and quick setups let us respond faster to client needs.”
Aopack engineers completed installation and training in February 2025. The BM3000-HD now efficiently produces high-mix, low-volume orders while maintaining quality for heavy-duty packaging, such as industrial and export cartons.
