“It was a milestone year with record financial results,” said Christoph Michalski, CEO. “In 2022, we delivered a record financial performance and advanced our growth plans for cartonboard. Some notable highlights from the previous year at Billerud were our expansion to North America, our joint venture with Viken Skog SA, and our name change to Billerud. And for the sixth year in a row, Billerud was listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index among the ten percent most sustainable companies in Containers & Packaging.”
