Members of TAPPI have recently elected Bill Edwards, Domtar’s senior vice president of pulp and paper operations, to serve on the TAPPI board of directors.
“It’s a great honor to be recognized by my peers, and I look forward to working with the board to advocate for our industry,” says Edwards.
Edwards leads Domtar’s pulp and paper manufacturing, converting/coating operations, and optimization efforts, and he brings more than 30 years of experience in the industry to his role on the TAPPI board of directors.
“TAPPI and its board have a rich history of supporting the pulp and paper industry,” Edwards says. “It’s more important than ever that we continue to advocate the value of pulp and paper industry careers to develop our next generation of leaders. I’ve spent my entire career in this industry, and I’m looking forward to working with TAPPI to help ensure it continues to be viable into the future.”
