Lamina System of Boras, Sweden, has confirmed it has installed a fully automatic sheet to sheet laminator at Bignon SA in France. A family business based in Bobigny, near Paris, Bignon was founded in 1957 by the grandfather of current owner, David Bignon. When first established, the company specialised in punching, but soon diversified into die-cutting. Bignon expanded its capabilities even further by acquiring scoring specialist FCFP in 2008.
The addition of the 1416 FA 800/500 laminator will allow the French print finisher to increase its output of litho laminated work considerably, especially for its customers in the POS and packaging markets.
