BFT Group has confirmed the successful completion of a major technological upgrade project at the Thailand facility of a prestigious Japanese industrial group.

The project focused on optimising an ISOWA 4600mm jumbo line, marking a significant step forward toward maximum process standardisation and efficiency. The retrofit involved converting the original rubber roller metering system to a state-of-the-art carbon fibre chambered doctor blade. In full alignment with the rigorous quality and precision standards required by the client, this technological implementation delivered immediate strategic benefits:
- Sustainability & resource efficiency: a 40% reduction in ink consumption, optimising operational costs while minimising environmental impact;
- Print quality & consistency: high-precision ink transfer, ensuring impeccable uniformity even on the largest and most complex formats;
- Automation & process stability: powered by the integration of the GT-CORR inking and washing system, the entire cycle is now fully automated.
“The success of this installation is the result of seamless international synergy,” said the company on LinkedIn. “We would like to express our gratitude to the management of the Japanese Group for their trust in our technology and for their invaluable collaboration on-site. A special thank you goes to our distributor, Sean Keogh of UMS Australasia Pty Ltd. Their strategic support, deep knowledge of the local market, and unwavering dedication at every stage of the project were essential to ensuring a smooth transition and meeting all deadlines flawlessly.”
