Bellmer acquires Cellwood Machinery AB

Bellmer GmbH has confirmed the acquisition of Swedish-based Cellwood Machinery AB, a manufacturer of systems for wastepaper recycling and bioenergy pre-treatment.

Cellwood has more than 700 system installations at paper mills all over the world. Each delivery is specifically designed with regard to the customer’s process, and every business relationship is characterized by close collaboration on testing, installation, commissioning and service in the form of maintenance and spare parts.

Additionally, Cellwood’s product and brand portfolio includes Metrans, known for its conveying and handling solutions, the Grubbens Pulper, and the Algas Microfilter. Cellwood Machinery AB will also strengthen Bellmer’s international presence through its subsidiaries in Germany, Canada, and China, and through service and sales professionals in Vietnam and India.

“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to the paper industry,” said Martin Kollmar, President, Bellmer GmbH. “We are excited to welcome Cellwood’s expertise and commitment into our group.”

The acquisition was agreed upon in mid-September 2025 following a structured and transparent process. The closing is expected by the end of October 2025.

“We are proud to become part of the Bellmer Group,” said Henrik Lefvert, Managing Director, Cellwood Machinery AB. “Bellmer’s values and long-term perspective mirror our own, and we are confident that this partnership will bring new opportunities for our customers and employees worldwide.”
