Construction of Buckeye Corrugated Inc.’s (BCI) new Syracuse, New York Division is under way. The company posted on its web site photos of the recently framed out office areas as well as the installation of a new scrap system and MarquipWardUnited G-Grafix three-color flexo.
According to local news reports, the box plant is moving from a previous location in Syracuse to a larger 197,000 sq ft building. The Syracuse plant employs 78 people. The relocation is expected to create 11 more jobs.
BCI is a privately-held, employee owned company with nine corrugated manufacturing facilities and four sheet feeders in the U.S.
