FROEB Verpackungen, based in Wurzbach, Germany, have recently placed an order for a Baysek C-170 die-cutter to run corrugated packaging and partitions. Founded in 1912, Froeb specialises in packaging development and production, ESD (electrostatic discharge), digital printing, partitions, cushion paper and more.
“When global travel bans prohibited Froeb from visiting Baysek Machines headquarters in USA, Froeb visited virtually for a C-170 demonstration and facility tour,” explains Mark Helbach of Baysek. “A custom die was made by our local die maker and tests were run for virtual observation. Froeb was impressed by the versatility of the Baysek and its ability to run simple to complex items of both large and small formats. The Baysek shear cuts, fully automatically strips waste, accurately counts and neatly stacks up to 60 individual pieces per cycle at a rate of 1800 sheets per hour.”
