Luis Miguel Barrientos has recently joined CASSIOLI as Sales Manager for its new Paper & Cardboard division. Cassioli is an international group specialised in providing advanced solutions for industrial handling and automation.
“The company has over 80 years of experience, since its inception in 1943, in the design and manufacture of semi-automatic and fully intralogistics automated systems, managed by dedicated software, capable of performing all goods storage and handling operations with speed and efficiency,” explains Barrientos, (who worked for over 10 years as Sales Manager for DURO FELGUERA).
From its Headquarters in Torrita di Siena (Italy) and around 500 employees, Cassioli has expanded its activity worldwide, with affiliates in Spain, USA, Poland and Brazil (these last three with local manufacturing facilities).
“Through the years, the comapny has developed specific expertise in some market sectors such as Ceramics, Tyre Industry, Airport transportation and panels/non-standard formats with taylor-made solutions and high specialisation in Vertical Storage (HBW) and autonomous vehicles (AGV’s, AMR’s). The company is now highly committed to apply the experience and technologies acquired in various sectors to the Corrugated Board Industry, where the group has been present for long and now with an specific focus,” adds Barrientos.
