In many projects, it has become apparent, that through comprehensive integration and linking and a holistic approach in the area of machine and plant technology and automation, decisive added value can be generated from the customer’s point of view. The base for this is an optimally coordinated, project-accompanying development partnership. For this reason, Bahmüller and MUK Automation have agreed to cooperate closely to increase customer benefits in the field of fully automated folding and gluing systems for corrugated board converting.
“The target is to create added value for customers in the corrugated industry on the basis of a close development partnership,” explains Michael Holtmann, CEO and Ulrich Wolz, COO Corrugated Board Converting Systems, Bahmüller. “Based on this, technological options will be offered within the scope of general contractor projects to further optimise the degree of integration in terms of operation, analysis and evaluation, as well as the serviceability of the overall system.”
He continues, “Consistent operating, safety, interface, PDA as well as communication and service structures can only be realised by optimally coordinated overall concepts on the basis of a close development partnership flanking the project-related customer order. The customer decides for himself whether he would like to profit from the advantages of the development partnership within the framework of a general contractor project or whether he prefers to purchase the machine and plant components and the automation solution separately, as has been the case up to now.”
