Saverio Mayer, President and CEO, Smurfit Westrock EMEA & APAC, confirmed in a statement on LinkedIn that the company’s state-of-the-art Bag-in-Box facility in Anderson, SC is progressing according to plan and is nearly ready to begin production.
“Under the leadership of Edwin Goffard and Max Bianchi, this site is set to become ‘the’ Bag-in-Box plant in the U.S. — a true benchmark for excellence in the industry,” commented Mayer.
He continued, “Elisa Romanello is leading this incredible project, and I’m confident it will be a great success, delivering exactly to plan. Now, all eyes are on John Mitchell and his team to showcase the difference to our customers and make them truly happy.”
