The Covid pandemic brought new business and increased volume to Atlantic Packaging. During that time, the company saw an opportunity to grow and expand by investing in a new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 162 6-color press and a new Bobst die-cutter.
With the addition of the the new press, Atlantic will now be able to print up to 47 1/4″ x 63 1/2″, which is significantly larger than their current capabilities of 28″ x 40″. The company feels this opportunity helps them service their large protein folding carton business.
“We are extremely excited about this. This puts us in a whole new playing field. This helps us to grow our large protein folding carton business. We are now ready for our new sustainable beverage carrier. We believe in the vision of fishbone and we are ready to grow,” said Allision Ferri, VP Printing and Graphics.
