On 10th September, APP Group (previously Asia Pulp and Paper) launched Regenesis – a new sustainability platform that marks a renewed and ambitious commitment to a sustainable future.
Regenesis is underpinned by an ambitious pledge of US$30 million annually over the next 10 years. A cornerstone of this initiative is the conservation and restoration of 1 million hectares of critical ecosystems reinforcing APP Group’s leadership in sustainable forest management and climate action.
Alongside this, APP also announced their new Forest Positive Policy, the first initiative to be unveiled as part of Regenesis. The Forest Positive Policy builds on the foundations of the Forest Conservation Policy launched in 2013. It demonstrates APP’s commitment to responsible forestry, integrating forest stewardship more deeply into every aspect of their business.
The policy is structured around three core pillars – Forests, People and Value Chain – and will be supported by clear, actionable commitments, rigorous implementation plans and robust monitoring.
