Apex Business Trading recently celebrated the opening of a new plant in Samail Industrial City in Oman, with HE Halima Al Zaria, Chairperson of the SMEs Development Authority, and Dawood Al Hadabi, CEO of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates Madayn in attendance.
Ibrahim Al Balushi, General Manager, Apex Business Trading, said, “Our corrugated packaging business was established in 2021 with support and funding from the SMEs Development Authority, with the aim of meeting the local market’s demand for packaging materials, corrugated boxes and innovative products. We are one of the first Omani companies to manufacture competitive products for display, expos and retail using the highest quality corrugated board.”
Ahmed Al Hashmi, Investor Services Head at Samail Industrial City, added, “Madayn has divided Samail Industrial City into several sectors, among which is a 39,000 sqm area designated for the SMEs, with the current occupancy rate of this sector touching 34%.”
