Antalis Packaging has appointed experienced Packaging Technologist Todd Smith to the newly created role of Automotive Solutions Manager, providing dedicated packaging know-how to the automotive sector.
Since joining Antalis Packaging in 2018, Smith has been an integral design team member at Antalis’ Smart Packaging Centre. During that time, he has worked closely with many customers in the automotive supply chain, creating innovative packaging solutions to a range of challenges.
The creation of the new role indicates Antalis’ commitment to supporting this key UK industry. Smith has developed extensive understanding of the needs and challenges of automotive businesses and has been instrumental in helping them find solutions, whether it’s creating packaging to prevent metal parts rusting in transit, devising closed-loop reusable packaging, or reducing the volume of packaging materials used.
