Koenig & Bauer has confirmed the sale of a six-colour Rapida 106 with coating equipment by El Safa in Alexandria, Egypt. This will be the 10th sheetfed offset press ordered by the company in 15 years.
With 16,500 sqm of production space and over 700 employees, the company is one of the biggest packaging printers in the Middle East and Africa. In addition to extensive printing technology, flatbed die-cutters from Iberica and folder gluers from Duran are also used.
