CONPRINTA has confirmed it has sold a further printing and coating system (PVS) to a box plant in in Lithia Springs, GA, USA. The installation will take place in spring 2024.
The PVS was developed as an extension for roll print machines and combines the advantage of digital printing with the potential of flexo printing. The PVS is equipped with the patented Belt Technology which permits printing in various repeat lengths up to 3.3m (130″) without changing plate cylinders or sleeves. A non-stretchable film referred to as ‘Belt’ is the permanent medium for the flexographic printing plates. The plates remain on the belt, no remounting, no sleeve or cylinder inventory, extremely fast change over.
