Ulises Rodriguez, General Manager, Smurfit Kappa Tijuana, has confirmed the company recently welcomed Maeve von Heynitz, the Ambassador of Ireland to Mexico, to the Tijuana Corrugated facility.
“Ireland and Mexico share so many things, specially our values and rich cultural diversity. We are very proud of our history together,” said Rodriguez. “It was inspiring to listen to Maeve von Heynitz share her view of the great opportunities we have in the region and importance of the significant investments that the company is making in Mexico as part of its strategic plan.”
He continues, “As we were touring the facility, we had an engaging conversation about innovation and sustainability as key drivers to face today’s challenges and continue opening opportunities for the future. Maeve van Heynitz also had the chance to see the passion and drive of our team, how together we create great products that protect our customer’s valuable brands and how we care for our people and our community.”
