AICC cancels Spring Meeting in California

AICC, The Independent Packaging Association has canceled the 2020 Spring Meeting, which was scheduled for 1-3 April in Carlsbad, CA. Recent developments with Coronavirus in California, combined with updated corporate travel policy restrictions among member companies, led the AICC Executive Committee and staff to take this decision.

“An AICC National Meeting is a signature event anticipated by members and known for delivering great content. We did not take the decision to cancel lightly, but rather due to the extraordinary circumstances related to COVID-19, now a pandemic, and to California’s recommendation that no gatherings should exceed 250 people. Our members’ health and safety will always be AICC’s primary consideration,” stated AICC President Michael D’Angelo.

AICC is contacting registrants with instructions on how to receive a registration credit for the next Spring Meeting or a refund of registration fees.

Questions about the cancellation can be directed to Cindy Huber, AICC Director of Conventions & Meetings, at [email protected]  or Laura Mihalick, Senior Meeting Manager, at [email protected].
