The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) has released its Q4 2021 Boxboard monthly report.
Total Boxboard production in Q4 increased 2% compared to Q4 2020. It was up 2% when compared to the same twelve months of 2020. The boxboard operating rate was 94.1%, up 0.7 points from Q4 2020 and up 1.2 points year-to-date.
- Solid Bleached Boxboard production in Q4 decreased 2% compared to Q4 2020. It was flat when compared to the 12 months of 2020.
- Recycled Boxboard production in Q4 increased 3% compared to Q4 2020. It was flat when compared to the same 12 months of 2020.
- Unbleached Kraft & Gypsum production in Q4 increased 6% compared to Q4 2020. It was up 6% when compared to the same 12 months of 2020.
