Advance Packaging Corp., an independent U.S. corrugated board manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has made a $13 million investment in new state-of-the-art printing technology. Trademarked by Advance as BentLine Technology, the line includes a Göpfert Ovation eight-color flexo press and a Bobst Mastercut 2.1 platen diecutter.
The BentLine technology allows Advance Packaging to produce full eight-color prints and up to 10,000 sheets per hour. The system individually inspects 100% of the output ensuring each piece is free of flaws. Advance will begin producing product from the new machine the second week of July.
