‘AA’ Grade Certification

UK based FC Cartons, a leading provider of specialist carton finishing solutions, confirms that it has improved its British Retail Consortium – Packaging & Packaging Materials standard from ‘B’ to ‘AA’ grade. Managing Director of FC Cartons, David Woodyatt, commented, “As a company, we do not believe in standing still. Our mindset is one of ‘continuous improvement’ or to put it another way ‘Betterment’. We strive to offer top quality services and products to our client base, a philosophy which is shared from management through to our production team.”

BRC AA

Just one part of this continual improvement is the Quality Management System which provides guidance and a framework for moving forward under the British Retail Consortium banner. Due to the strict standards that customers required, FC Cartons applied for BRC- Packaging & Packaging Materials standard and attained it 4 years ago. Over this past 4 years, they have improved their grading within the BRC from a ‘B’ grade to an ‘AA’ grade through great teamwork, clear communication and a desire to offer the very best to their customers.

Mr Woodyatt continued, “This ‘AA’ grade certification has been further validated by our valued clients, many of who have visited FC Cartons to our mutual benefit. We have listened and learned, helping our customers in improving their own quality systems through shared best practises. When a global packaging giant asks if they can copy parts of your system to implement, we know we are doing something right!”

He concludes, “With this in mind we would like to take this opportunity to thank the FC Cartons team and our customers for helping us navigate our way through another successful year. This should allow us to inspire confidence in our client base and place ‘betterment’ at the heart of all we do at FC Cartons.”
