Based in Italy, Vega will introduce their new Phoenix gluer at Drupa in June (Stand 10 A22). The concept of upgrading their range of gluers is due to the foresight of Vega’s President, Giorgio Nava, who wanted to use Drupa to demonstrate the continuous growth and development of their family company that has become so well known for its high quality range folder gluers.
Drupa visitors will have the chance to preview the new Phoenix, a modular 110cm model (also available in size 90) equipped with a Mechanical Blank Alignment module, high speed crash lock module, ejection module and CAM system. The Phoenix represents a new concept of machine in terms of HMI interface that is totally connected to supplier and customer through the Industry 4.0 environment. It’s a new design by the Italian industrial designer “Bertone” brand who gave the style to so many Italian supercars and now the latest high speed Vega Phoenix gluer.
