West Bromwich, England-based CBS Packaging has recently purchased independent corrugated packaging manufacturer Charapak from administrators. Charapak was established in 1980 and has a rich history of nearly 40 years manufacturing corrugated packaging from its facility in Alfreton, Derbyshire.

This purchase is another positive step to keep building upon the growing momentum we have at CBS Packaging. This strategic move allows us to further increase the geographic diversity and strength of our customer base. This purchase allows us to further increase our presence in the UK corrugated packaging sector, while giving our turnover a further boost with the group closing in on the £30 million mark.”
