Sustainable flexible packaging specialist Eco Flexibles has received a BRCGS Packaging Materials AA+ score in its recent audit, which is the highest grade possible.

Under the BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7 standard, AA+ certification can only be attained through an unannounced audit, which is a mandatory audit that takes place every three years, to ensure high standards are maintained.
The flexible packaging specialist’s certification was achieved after the auditor found only one minor non-conformance report (NCR) during their visit to the printer’s site in Northampton.
As a result, the previous AA rating Eco Flexibles received in 2025 was upgraded.
David Smith, General Manager, Eco Flexibles, said, “We welcomed an unannounced audit because we know the standards our team operates to. We see it every day.
“It’s fantastic to see their hard work and commitment to excellence rewarded with the highest possible BRCGS certification.
“It’s great news for us, but even better news for our customers, who know they are in the safest hands.”
Smith added, “We aren’t resting on our laurels, though. We’ve already started working on the feedback from our audit to aim even higher and pass our next audit with no NCRs.”
