Abbey Labels added to Asteria Group

Abbey Labels has become the latest UK business to join the pan-European printing group, Asteria.

Today, Abbey Labels produces over half a billion labels annually, supporting customers across the UK with a broad range of labelling options: flexo and digitally printed labels, with embellishments and specialist finishes, and available in multi-layer and peel-and-reveal label constructions.

These capabilities complement Asteria Group’s existing UK operations – which already includes Berkshire Labels, CS Labels, and Mercian Labels – creating further opportunities to share expertise, broaden our offering and deliver additional value to customers.

Asteria Group CEO Ives Declerck explained, “Abbey Labels has built an excellent reputation over more than 50 years and we are delighted to welcome the team to our Asteria Group family. Abbey’s strong digital and flexographic capabilities provide further opportunities to create even more value for customers. We look forward to building on the foundations established by the Allum family and supporting the next stage of the company’s growth.”
