Norske Skog delivered EBITDA of NOK 448m and a profit before income taxes of NOK 251m in the third quarter of 2026. The results were positively impacted by a gain of NOK 338m from the sale of property to Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning (NND).
The company said in a statement that higher prices and deliveries supported publication paper, while production challenges at Norske Skog Golbey PM1 reduced packaging paper volumes. The production challenges are expected to be improved during the fourth quarter of 2026. Following the quarter, liquidity was strengthened by NOK 770m from receipt of proceeds from the NND transaction.
