Sandland Packaging has confirmed changes to its senior management team, with Martin Hickman moving from Managing Director to Chief Executive Officer and Andy Batha taking over as Managing Director.
The appointments form part of the company’s plans for its next phase of development, with Hickman assuming responsibility for strategic leadership and the long-term direction of the business. Batha, previously Sales Director, will oversee day-to-day operations and commercial priorities, working alongside Jo Hickman, Commercial Director.
The senior management team has worked together since the company’s management buyout in 2020, supporting its development as a manufacturer of bespoke corrugated packaging. Batha, who has previously overseen the company’s sales activities, will now take on wider responsibility for its operations and continued commercial development.
The leadership changes come as Sandland Packaging prepares to bring additional machinery into production during the fourth quarter of 2026. The investment is expected to increase manufacturing capacity and expand the company’s production capabilities.
