Spanish pre-press specialist Puntes Packaging Partners is using Esko Quartz technology to expand its flexographic plate production capabilities across Europe, following its recent acquisition of French tradeshop Art Media Graphic (AMG).
The investment enables Puntes to supply flexographic plates to customers in Spain, France, Belgium and Portugal, supporting both corrugated and flexible packaging applications.
AMG, based in Gournay-en-Bray, northeast of Paris, has an established Esko production environment, allowing Puntes to integrate operations and standardise workflows across the two businesses.
“Our investment in the Esko Quartz ecosystem is a natural step in our long-term commitment to innovation,” said Sergio Montañés Cubero, Marketing & Sales Manager, Puntes Packaging Partners. “We have already seen the benefits of advanced Esko technologies such as Crystal screening, and Quartz allows us to take that to the next level.”
Puntes is using its production facility in Spain to manufacture plates for the French market, with the same capabilities also supporting customers in Portugal. The acquisition of AMG provides a local service presence in France, complementing the company’s centralised plate production operations.
