Kohler Coating has confirmed that its CEO, Herb Kohler, has received the 2026 TAPPI Division Technical Award and Harry J. Bettendorf Prize from TAPPI’s Corrugated Packaging Division.
The award recognises Kohler’s leadership and service to the corrugated industry, including his work to develop understanding of moisture management throughout the corrugator and its impact on board quality, warp and runnability.
Kohler has also been involved in the development of WaterDecks, a technology designed to provide corrugated producers with greater control over moisture during production.
The TAPPI Division Technical Award and Harry J. Bettendorf Prize recognises individuals for outstanding accomplishments or contributions that have advanced the corrugated packaging industry.
