The launch pairs BHS Corrugated’s process expertise with GreaseBoss’s guided-lubrication technology to close a major gap in corrugator maintenance.
Manual greasing accounts for up to 50% of maintenance time on corrugators, yet it has historically been the least visible and least auditable maintenance task on the machine. In reviewing the gap between corrugator uptime targets and real-world maintenance execution, BHS Corrugated identified digital greasing verification as the single highest-leverage opportunity to close it.
Following a one-year deployment at a U.S. customer site, BHS Corrugated recorded lubrication compliance rising to roughly 95% — held week over week — alongside an increase in corrugator availability, a production output increase of approximately 10%, and 40% fewer bearing replacement orders — validating the impact of the iCorr® Grease system and delivering measurable gains in both uptime and avoided replacement cost.
iCorr® Grease, powered by GreaseBoss, is now available globally to customers of BHS Corrugated. Its core components, the GreaseBoss Head Unit and patented RFID tags, convert each greasing action into logged, timestamped compliance data without changing how operators already work.
GreaseBoss’s underlying intellectual property — including the tool-free, snap-on RFID grease tags and the Head Unit, which attaches to any grease gun — is patent protected, and BHS Corrugated holds an exclusive license to deliver this technology to the corrugated industry.
