Valmet has been selected to supply a complete coated board production line, automation and lifecycle services to an unnamed customer in Asia, with start-up scheduled for 2028.
The new line will produce premium-quality coated board grades and has been designed to combine product quality with increased production efficiency and long-term operational performance.

Valmet’s scope includes stock preparation and a complete board machine from headboxes through to the reel and winders. The delivery will also incorporate automation and digital services, paper machine clothing and spare parts packages.
