Advance Paper Box invests in Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106

Scheduled for delivery in early 2027, the 41″ press will modernise APB’s pressroom and provide additional capacity for folding carton production. The investment will also support extended colour gamut printing, faster turnaround times and increased production flexibility for multi-SKU work.

“Over the years, our commitment to providing innovative and high-quality packaging solutions has driven our growth, and now, we’re taking it to the next level with a significant capacity expansion and other forward-thinking initiatives. We’ve been making cartons here for over 50 years,” said Gerry Choquette, President and CEO, Advance Paper Box. “This investment in a new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 says we intend to be doing it for the next 50.”

The Rapida 106 will become APB’s flagship press and is expected to produce the majority of the company’s folding carton work, supporting its continued growth with brand owners across North America.
