Marbach offers the solidplate|alu, a dieboard for cutting-dies that is both precise and lightweight. Thanks to its dimensional stability and low weight, it ensures productivity and optimal die-cutting results, especially for large machine formats.
When die-cutting large formats, precision, dimensional stability, and ease of handling are key. Multiplex dieboards reach their limits here due to their hygroscopic properties and their limited reknifing capabilities. Marbach’s solidplate|alu combines high stability with significantly reduced weight, enabling efficient processes and consistent results.
Featuring two aluminium layers and a marbacore core layer, the solidplate|alu has a three-layer construction. This material combination ensures dimensional stability, optimal registration with the steel counter plate, and a long service life with multiple reknifings. The metallic cover sheet allows quick replacement of the ejector rubber, which speeds up handling and reduces set-up times. The low weight makes the die easier to handle while simultaneously reducing transportation costs.
